White gold has maintained its popularity among those who are not very fond of the yellow hues in most gold jewelry. The material is also popular among those of us that do.

I am a big fan of the traditional yellow gold. When I think of jewelry this color immediately pops into my mind. The jeweler went on to explain that nickel isn’t really used now especially if the item is created by a professional.

Rhodium is the metal of quality and choice for today’s reputable jeweler. White gold jewelry is now created with a mixture of gold and rhodium. This metal is very similar to platinum and it does share its color but the overall look of the finished product is more reflective.

After my visit with the jeweler I knew that I was going to marry a very smart man. His choice of white gold jewelry went against everyone’s advice. He simply followed his intuition as well as his excellent taste.
