Good Luck Charm
These Charms can make you feel Lucky
Many people carry a good luck charm, but you will find these are different for each different person. Some people carried around rabbit’s feet when I was a kid, but I find that these are very uncommon today. Perhaps they were more of a fad than they were a source of good luck. You will find that a good luck charm isn’t always what you would expect. Some people claim a pair of socks or a shirt brings them good luck, while others rely on making their own luck.
A good luck charm can be anything you want it to be. If you think something is lucky, then who is to say it’s not? I have a yellow heart on a chain around my neck that I consider my good luck charm. I don’t know if I believe it brings me good luck, but I have been wearing it for some really incredible moments in my life. To me, that makes it special, even if it really isn’t a good luck charm. The point is that it makes me feel lucky, and that is all that counts.
Some people choose their good luck charm the same way I did. They may have been wearing something when something good happened in their life, and they think the item was the reason. This might be fun thinking, but you are not giving yourself enough credit. The good things that happen to you may at times be good luck, but don’t discount your own presence in the situation. If you met someone you had been dying to talk to, perhaps it was your charm and personality that made them want to talk to you, not the good luck charm you have buried in your pocket.
However, if a good luck charm makes you feel lucky, then you should by all means carry it. It could be simply mind over matter. If you have your good luck charm in your pocket, you may feel more confident, and this may in turn make good things happen. It’s not the charm, however, it is you. But if you draw your power from a good luck charm, then you should carry it with you at all times. Perhaps that is the secret behind the good luck charm. If you believe it works, you make good things happen. It has nothing to do with luck, but we won’t tell anyone.
